A little help with the little things.
01 / FIRST BOWLS
Start small at weaning.
From 4 weeks, soften the food with warm water into a manageable mash. Introduce small amounts alongside their existing weaning routine. Ask us for portions for puppies under 2 months.
02 / DAILY ROUTINE
Little and often.
Weigh the whole day’s allowance, then divide it into small, regular meals suited to their age. Keep fresh drinking water available and count training treats within their daily intake.
03 / MAKING THE SWITCH
Let them take their time.
Once settled into their new home, introduce the food gradually over 2 weeks. Increase the new food as you reduce the old. Allow around 3 weeks for a sensitive tummy.
Check weight and body condition regularly. Your breeder or vet can help with meal frequency, expected adult size and individual growth needs.
