Quality Ingredients

UK sourced and made. A great alternative (or compliment) to raw and other premium food.

Made Different

Traditional dry dog food is baked at a very high heat. We make our recipes at much lower temperatures, tasty and packed with goodness.

Our Secret Ingredient

Turmeric helps support digestion and the body’s natural balance, contributing to a healthy gut and overall wellbeing. It's rarely used in other dry dog food.

The Cold Pressed Difference:

We only use a low heat to make our food. This gentle process alongside our complementary recipes mean Barney & Max is:

✔ Very High in meat and contains meat made to human food standards.

✔ Packed with goodness. Nutritionally dense, full of natural ingredients

✔ Aids digestion. Breaks down easily and aids steady energy release.

✔ Helps the immune system. Supports the reduction of allergies and the body's inflammation process

✔ Lifestyle benefits. Promotes well-being and general health. Supports healthy joints, aids exercise recovery and respiratory system

✔ Smaller Poos & Less 'Gas'! Yep you get some benefits too 😊

✔ Grain, gluten free & prebiotic

✔ Helps maintain a healthy, shiny coat.

✔ Suitable to be fed with raw. Unlike traditional kibble, which can sometimes cause issue if mixed with raw.

✔ Can be mixed with water to soften into paste, for a softer diet or a lick mat treat

✔ Your money goes further. Lower cost per meal versus other quality traditional kibble and much than other premium foods (like raw or pre cooked).

Great Value For You

Nutritionally filling. Naturally satisfying.

Barney & Max cold pressed food is packed with high-quality ingredients and made for easier digestion. Because it’s so nutrient-dense, most dogs need a smaller serving than traditional baked kibble. Saving you money per meal!

They’ll still feel full - just without the heavy stomach load.

Prices shown are subscription prices based on a 15kg active adult dog using chicken-based recipes (in around 10kg bags). Feeding amounts are calculated using each brand’s recommended guidelines. Prices and recipes may vary. For illustrative comparison purposes only.

The Cold Pressed Difference

A much lower temperature bake (around 50℃) which keeps nutrients in

Higher nutritional value per serving. Stable energy.

Supports smaller poos, less gas and fewer allergies!

Easy Digestion

Traditional extruded kibble expands when exposed to liquid.

Cold pressed food behaves differently. It tends to gently break down rather than swell significantly. Many owners prefer this, especially for dogs with sensitive digestion.

For All Life Stages

packed with goodness so its fine for puppies, adults and senior dogs

Also suitable to feed alongside raw diets.

Approx 12g of food per kg of weight. The recommended amounts allow for a few treats during the day.

For best results split the daily amount into two feeds. This is because our food is quickly absorbed with a steady release of nutrients throughout the day.

Because our food is packed with goodness, you'll need less weight per meal v other brand who cook at a high heat.

When switching from another food provider gradually introduce our food as a treat for the first few days, then gradually into their daily meals and increase over the course of 2 weeks.

For example; Start as a treat, moving to 25% of main meals after day 3, 50% by the end of the first week, then 100% after week two.

If your dog has a sensitive tummy, introduce with a slower process over a 3 week period.

We Believe In Better
